چکیده
We report the results of optical \'echelle spectroscopy with Southern African Large Telescope (SALT) mass donor star BSDL\,923 in neutron (NS) high-mass X-ray binary XMMU\,J051342.6$-$672412 associated LMC supernova remnant (SNR) MCSNR\,J0513$-$6724. found that is a B0.7\,III double peaked emission lines originating circumbinary disk-like structure. This classification and presence double-peaked imply Be star. Modelling stellar atmosphere code {\sc fastwind} was used to derive effective temperature $T_{\rm eff}=27\pm1$\,kK, surface gravity $\log g=3.22\pm0.10$, projected rotational velocity $v\sin i\approx100\pm45 \, \kms$, colour excess $E(B-V)=0.53\pm0.05$\,mag, luminosity $\log(L_*/\lsun)=5.46\pm0.10$ BSDL\,923, as well show this polluted $\alpha$-elements (O, Mg Si) from ejecta. also NS orbiting an eccentric ($e=0.158\pm0.061$) orbit orbital period $1.280\pm0.006$\,d semi-major axis $17\pm3 \rsun$, radius $25\pm5 \,\rsun$. speculate embedded either because it kicked at birth towards or inflation caused by energy input blast wave. Using long-slit SALT, we searched for possible signs SNR shell 2D spectrum, but did not find them. lack detection consistent young age ($\approx4^{+2} _{-1}$\,kyr) MCSNR\,J0513$-$6724, implying still adiabatic (non-radiative) phase.

Dust in the bright supernova remnant N49 in the LMC*
We investigate the dust associated with the supernova remnant (SNR) N49 in the Large Magellanic Cloud (LMC) as observed with the Herschel Space Observatory. N49 is unusually bright because of an interaction with a molecular cloud along its eastern edge. We have used PACS and SPIRE to measure the far IR flux densities of the entire SNR and of a bright region on the eastern edge of the SNR where ...
متن کاملASCA X - Ray Spectroscopy of LMC Supernova Remnants and the Metal Abundances of the LMC
We present the results of X-ray spectroscopy of a flux-limited sample of seven middle-aged supernova remnants (SNRs) in the Large Magellanic Cloud (LMC): N23, N49, N63A, DEM71, N132D, 0453−68.5, and N49B. We constructed self-consistent nonequilibrium ionization SNR models assuming a Sedov solution for the dynamical evolution, and then applied the resulting spectral models to the data obtained b...
متن کاملDiscovery of a Compact X-ray Source in the LMC Supernova Remnant N23 with Chandra
An X-ray compact source was discovered with Chandra in a supernova remnant (SNR) N23, located in the Large Magellanic Cloud. The compact source (CXOU J050552.3−680141) is seen in only the hard band (> 2 keV) image of N23, while the soft band image (< 2 keV) shows diffuse emission of the SNR, with an extent of ∼ 60 × 80. The compact source is located at almost the center of N23, and there is no ...
متن کاملSpatially resolved X-ray spectroscopy of the Vela supernova remnant
Spatially resolved (typically 10′) soft X-ray spectral analyses of the whole Vela supernova remnant (SNR) are presented. The X-ray data were obtained in the ROSAT all-sky survey (RASS). The spectra can be well represented by twotemperature Raymond-Smith thermal plasma models. The spatial distributions of the temperatures of the hot component show that most of the central and the southern parts ...
متن کاملnew semigroup compactifications via the enveloping semigroups of associated flows
this thesis deals with the construction of some function algebras whose corresponding semigroup compactification are universal with respect to some properies of their enveloping semigroups. the special properties are of beigan a left zero, a left simple, a group, an inflation of the right zero, and an inflation of the rectangular band.
